Los Angeles based costume designer and wardrobe stylist Emilie Pereira brings over two decades industry experience to her work. Starting her career in fashion with a custom handbag line, she developed her love of style and self expression to become a sought after stylist for music videos and celebrities. Her work has seen her create unique red carpet looks and memorable outfits for artists including Gnarls Barkley, Alanis Morissette to actors including Brie Larson and Jaimie Alexander. A love of narrative has always driven her creativity, making film and TV work a natural fit for her talents. Her vision and unique creative heritage make her an ideal collaborator who enjoys finding new ways to help realize a director’s vision and bring characters to life. A new focus of her work is finding ways to create costumes which are more sustainable by avoiding fast fashion and finding ways to include sustainable brands and vintage clothing.
